We made it to the ship about 5:00 pm and left port at 8:30 pm. So happy to unpack our bags and stay put for the next 7 days! The sun came out after the rain hovered over us all day as we made our way to the sea.

And @sea...finally!
Embarkation Day! Saturday, June 14th.
Yes, Joe really did pack a tripod, binoculars, two Costco jars of nuts and bourbon smuggled in fake shampoo bottles!
Our cabin for the next 7 days! Big closet behind the wall and tiny bathroom, but we were too excited to care! And we had a balcony!
We all were together except for Bill and Janet, so we opened the patios up and had our first toast!Joe and I went to the Lido deck at the bow to watch as we left port. This is nighttime remember, and still light!Too tired to really dress for dinner our first night. We found our way to the DaVinci Dining Room for our anytime sitting and ate and drank till midnight! The ship gently rocked us all to sleep even though the sun was still lighting up the sky!
